Years ago, Rice faced a familiar challenge: transitioning from a manual sales system to a digital sales structure.

The workload was drained by manual, heavy tasks that required many man-hours. With a festive universe of over 2,000 colorful products, keeping track of inventory, orders and product information was a big challenge.

The dream was to optimize and create a simpler workday for everyone. New digital platforms became the solution to the problem. Salespeople’s classic catalog was replaced with a digital overview, and customers could now check stock status and make purchases directly from their stores.

nVision Mobile was the first step on the digital journey

The salespeople’s new tool was nVision Mobile – a digital sales app that replaced the physical product catalog. Now salespeople could easily keep track of products, check stock status and add items directly to the basket on customer visits, at trade fairs or something completely different.

In the wake of the positive feedback from nVision Mobile, there was a desire to do even more for the customer experience. The addition was a B2B retailer app, allowing customers to browse products, check stock status and order goods directly to their store.

Although the retail app is still young, more and more customers are starting to see the benefits of having a more independent and digital shopping option.
